Riser and J tube plugs. - Product

These riser and J tube plugs are designed to be inserted and set by ROV.
Variants can be made up for flanged and bellmouth risers and J-tubes. The materials are resistant to seawater together with the biocides and inhibitors used to protect the inside of the tubes.
The plugs are near neutrally buoyant in seawater minimising trim changes on the ROV during installation.
High pullout forces can be resisted and the plugs are fitted with relief valves to vent excess head pressure from within the J-tube.
These plugs are a practical solution to underwater engineering requirements for long term temporary riser and J tube sealing requirements.

The plugs can be produced in diameters from 30mm to 1200mm.
